Oil Cleansing Method????
Have you heard of the oil cleansing method?? Our cleansing balm works much like that. Use oils to clean oils (from your face). Cleansing balm keeps your skin healthy, moisturized and hydrated to aid in fighting off those pesky “free-radicals” that cause so much damage.
Ingredients: cetyl alcohol, coconut oil, BTMS 225, safflower oil, pumpkin seed oil, castor oil, fractionated coconut oil, jojoba oil, rosehip seed oil, polysorbate 80, evening primrose oil, vitamin E oil, sea buckthorn berry oil, germ all plus, and essential oils (moringa, lavender, frankincense, helichrysum, sandalwood, patchouli, myrrh).
A few things you may not know:
BTMS 225 is a silky emulsifier which helps the cleanser to be washed away with water.
Cetyl alcohol is a skin-softening fatty alcohol, which means it won’t dry out your skin and it is made from coconut and palm
Safflower and pumpkin seed oils are both high in linoleic acid and are fabulous for all skin types, especially beneficial for oily, sensitive and problematic skin
Rosehip seed oil is AMAZING!! It hydrates, exfoliates, brightens, moisturizes, is high in vitamin C which helps boost collagen production in your skin and protects against further sun damage. It can also help reduce hyper-pigmentation. I love to add this incredible oil to our skincare products
How to use it
Begin with DRY skin! Using dry hands or a small spatula, remove a portion about the size of a large pea. Spread the balm between your finger tips so it begins to melt and then gently massage it all over your face and neck in small circular motions. Do this for a whole minute! Be mindful of the nooks and crannies around your nose and mouth too…get in there and pamper your whole face. Next, add a little warm water to your face with your fingertips, massage again. You will notice the balm becomes super creamy, keep massaging for another full minute. Remove the balm with a soft, warm wash cloth, and rinse your face with several handfuls of warm water. Blot dry.
If you use this in the morning, you can apply make-up and go about your day. If you choose to cleanse in the evening, we recommend applying a small amount of Poppy, our facial moisturizer, to deeply nourish and hydrate your skin while you sleep.
